Drywall Priming + Texture Services

DRS has a large inventory of texture machines and over 10 priming machines so that we can service priming and texture jobs of any size from our Pacific Northwest locations. With our efficient dispatch service and specially trained crews, we can perform these services at short notice. Since texturing is the final and most visible component of the drywall process, we go the extra mile to maintain our commitment to quality. We make sure that the finished walls look good so that you look good.

Priming
DRS crews start by scraping and sweeping the entire floor surface. Once the dried mud and debris is removed from the floors, we begin to mask off the project with the finest materials available. DRS uses only the best tape, paper and plastic to ensure that no surfaces will be over-sprayed. After masking, the crews will apply primer to all interior spaces that you have specified. For an additional cost, DRS can back roll all primed areas and/or apply a vapor barrier to all exterior walls and lids. After priming, excess drywall related debris will be gathered up and taken to one of our recycling centers.

Our priming service is also beneficial for contractors who have their own texture machines but don't have the time or labor to clean up and prime their jobs. DRS works 24/7 so that you can be confident that your project will be completed on time.

DRS offers an environmentally friendly "green" primer
In our on-going commitment to a "greener" world, we use earth friendly products such as Green Seal® certified Horizon primer. This primer has a low number of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which virtually eliminates the emission of irritant vapors and odors. In addition, it contains agents that inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the paint surface. We believe that the use of this type of product contributes to a healthier home environment for you and your family.

Texture
DRS offers a variety of drywall texture options that can include: a light orange peel finish, a heavy knock-down texture, spray sand, or an acoustic texture that is designed to deaden sound. Our texture specialists can even hand trowel a mud finish to give your walls and ceilings that one-of-a-kind custom touch.
