Drywall Recycling + Scrapping
DRS crews go to your job site after the drywall has been hung and clean up the mess left behind by the hangers. All drywall scraps and paper are picked up. The floors are broom swept. The window ledges are cleaned, all half walls are cleared of dust and screws, debris is removed from bathtubs and shower basins leaving a clean, dust free and safe environment for your tapers. The drywall scraps are then sent to one of our Drywall Recycling Centers for processing.
ALL DRYWALL, PAPER, METAL AND CARDBOARD IS 100% RECYCLED! |
We offer additional services that can be performed while onsite. They include:

After the drywall has been removed and the floors have been broom swept we lay #50 pound Kraft paper and tape all seams and staple the perimeters. Papering floors leaves your job looking professional while protecting the floors from unwanted mud, PVA and texture.

After your tapers are finished we remove all drywall debris such as empty mud boxes, metal and trash. We then scrape and sweep all floors leaving your job clean and ready for your PVA/texture crews.

After the floors are scraped and swept, we mask all windows, doors, tubs, fireplaces and can lights so that your PVA/texture crews are ready to go. Builders will take notice of the effort to protect finished construction.

We will move scaffolding, deliver and move sheets, deliver mud boxes and metal or any other delivery you require. We will pick up from one site and drop off at another. If you find your job short on material or tools, or if you need to re-deploy job duties, this service will save you money.

At DRS we have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly! We can handle any type of job you have, whether it be a complete walkout due to poor or limited access, chute jobs on large commercial projects, or jobs that require assistance from a crane. We have the knowledge, know how, experience and ability to get your job done!
