Get to Know DRS

DRS was started by Daniel Mendes and Daniel Guimont. Environmentally passionate, they knew they could find a way to reduce the amount of construction debris being dumped into our landfills. Their vast industry knowledge paved the way for developing innovative ways to scrap, collect, and recycle construction debris and drywall materials. Their goal is to expand DRS to become one of the largest drywall recycling companies in America and be a leader in the recycling community.
DRS is a Nevada corporation based in Bothell, WA and was incorporated in November of 2006. The DRS staff has over 500 years of combined experience in the recycling industry. Our daily mission at DRS is to keep drywall debris out of our landfills. With a wide range of customized recycling services for commercial and residential construction sites, DRS is making a positive impact on the community and the environment.
DRS is primarily engaged in the business of drywall recycling. Our service entails the physical removal of excess drywall debris from construction job sites, demolition sites, remodels and residential homes. After the drywall installers have cut and installed the product, DRS will dispatch trained drywall scrappers to retrieve the materials from the job site. Our fleet of trucks will then transport the debris to one of our recycling centers to be processed. (Our customers also have the option of dropping off the materials themselves). Either way, our processing facilities recycle 100% of the materials we receive. The final step is to ship the recycled gypsum and paper products to manufacturing and agricultural companies throughout the Northwest.
We are in the process of expanding to new locations. Please contact us to see when DRS will be in your region.
We currently have recycling facilities in Bremerton, Maltby, Milton, Richland, Ridgefield, Samish and Sunnyside, Washington and Portland, Oregon. Please visit our services section for more information.
